How you ask? hold down the "alt" key, then goto the number pad. press some random combinenation. then let go. I'll show you some possible ones.

only works on macs. look. I hold alt: nothing shows up.

It works on Windows but you have to unable NumLock.

On windows, you have to press alt+ a code on the number pad. On a mac it's option+ a normal letter, number or symbol, but it's more limited.
This might sound weird, but I have a collection of characters that you can't normally type, some not even with an "alt code". I just copy/paste them into a TextEdit document. I could probably give you the whole thing, but I can't today.
I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

it ONLY works on macs? no way! I have a dell. Hold alt then type osmthing in the number PAD
