An awesome Final Sonic boss idea.
You know how Sonic only uses the positive energy of the chaos emeralds? (For instance Perfect Chaos in Sonic Adventure) Well what if there was a boss so powerful that Sonic had to use both the positive AND negative energy to defeat the boss?
......just a thought.....

Positive and negative would make him regular. 
But that would be cool...
If you are reading this, please read to the end, because if you don't you won't know what's at the end. Don't just skip to the end though otherwise you won't be able to read the middle, which is most important. Er, no. Positive plus Negative do not make neutral.

I am tempted to say Cool Story Bro as I do not really have any idea of what you are talking about, but I won't. Instead I will say that in reality positive plus negative does indeed equal neutral, but I assume Chaos Emeralds + whatever != nothing.
