I'm at Scratch Day @ MIT -- where are you?

So after waiting in the registration line for quite a while, I'm finally at the orientation. HILLARIOUS VIDEO  tongue .

I'm in a Scratch T-shirt -- and I'm not 8 years old. That's what I can say if you're looking for me  tongue .

I also have a name tag from last year... brown hair.  tongue

Tell gbear605 I said "Hi!"

I wish I could go to a Scratch Day, but there aren't any in Texas. :(

LOL This or that? Scratch Cat (40%) or Gobo (60%)? Play sound (40%) or next costume (60%)? Program (60%) or Website (40%)? Start from Scratch (95%) or Remix (5%)? Kittens (30%) or bunnies (60%)?

This is so silly lol.

Re: I'm at Scratch Day @ MIT -- where are you?

At home doing homework. I might go out later for lunch and wear my Scratch shirt for lulz, but that 50/50 right now.  tongue

Why is it that every time there's a Scratch Day event, it lands on a day that's totally inconvenient for me? T-T

Not being a nerd at a programming convention . . .

No offense, but going to a day for Scratch seems a little much IMO.

Somebody is showing off the Slash Mod and how you can change the color scheme -- so that's pretty cool.

Some day I'll have to go to a Scratch Day. I'm all the way out in Washington State, so it might be hard.

Re: I'm at Scratch Day @ MIT -- where are you?

Hmm, what's this. Somebody from the MIT Media Lab made "Vision Blocks".

http://visionblocks.org

So its another way to interract with the real world. Interesting how it's online, and he showed a demo of it with face detection. Awesome!

Brian is now showing BYOB and the first class sprites. So cloning and stuff. Sharing and not sharing various properties "to have interesting effects" as he said.
