They actually censored PunBB. I think that's what the scratch forums are hosted on, guys. Plus it really accomplishes nothing. Why censor it? It's just a forum hosting site. Just because other forums related to scratch got hacked on it does NOT mean you should censor it. There may not exactly be a reason not to, but there's no reason to do it either. It's like when you censored SJ. (I had to abbreviate.) Just because things are on there attacking scratch doesn't mean you should censor any mention of the hosting site, Just like PunBB. If you want to censor it get rid of the part that has to do with scratch.
punBB isn't what scratch is hosted on, it is hosted using fluxBB
Personnally, I like phpBB3

SJ was kind of reasonable though, what with all the ....unusual comics there (no, I don't mean the comics, it wasn't even one of the worst ones compared to the others)
On second thought, this doesn't make sense because it's not like they found the bad comics before (or probably even after) censoring the site.

I saw this while I was on roblox, the character images are displayed as the images I viewed on google (I saw a picture of Toon Link for instants.) Its like I thought ROBLOX made an update for people to put any image they want.

I've seen these hits. Banned a couple users. I removed the IMG tags. I suggest you do the same.

It's hard to ban these accounts because mostly there are spam bots that automatically sign up and post them, not people
I recommend that people use anti spam mods on their forums.

Or activating the security on the forum, making yourself the only admin, make a system like Scratch has with New Scratchers & Scratchers, & Only allow People to be mods once they've been helpful

In Bad Behavior's options, enable strict mode.

This is why I would never even DARE create a PunBB.-.Hosting forum.
Plus, avoid FlexiStudio's iScratchers forum. Some guy pretending to be Aidan is posting inappropriate images on there.
EDIT: What's the point in censoring PunBB?! This forum is made in PunBB_Hosting, so it's a bit dumb...

Maybe we should remove the links to forums that have been hit. I know of one already, but I'm not sure if there are more. How many have actually been hit?
I'm not really sure of the number that have been hit - but it seems like when a forum link is posted here, it has a tendency to get trolled/exploited by vengeful outsiders (or maybe someone is playing mind games and set up a hacking incident with the intention to shock visitors; who knows?).

Some of the links of hit forums have been removed, but if you see a link here on Scratch to a forum that has been hit pretty badly, hit the "report" button so a moderator or a Scratch Team member can remove them.
can i help

Uh guys, I don't think bots are the ones doing this. Just saying.

Actually, the Scratch Forums are based on FluxBB hosting.
The problem is that, often times, when it comes to external forums that are prone to being attacked easily, members get exposed to inappropriate material and the moderators have to scramble around to get the links removed. So, to my understanding, that's why PunBB is added to the censor list. I guess you would have to take that issue up with the Scratch Team is you guys have an issue with it, community mods have no control over the censor list.

Swell Forums is clear, or at least hasn't been hit yet. I hope I didn't just jinx it...
