It looks like Slash. Only different. It's probably either fake and edited, or it is a secret mod.
It is not a mod, not fake, and not Slash. It is Scratch. Version 0.1 or 0.2.

I must admit that doesn't look nearly as appealing as today's version of Scratch
I definitely agree, coolstuff.

That does look old. It looks like it's a preliminary version of Scratch from before the days of the layout we have now. I think I've seen it before, actually...
Edit: haha, I didn't realize I'd posted in this topic before.

ah I remember that version
you're a new scratcher, and that's an outdated version of scratch. Therefore, that's impossible
I'm not new, I've been using scratch for years, my friend gave the folder of scratch to me ages ago, therefore i didn't have an account till after. when I first started I thought the shout was say, it was confusing.

That's interesting. I remember when the numbers were called 1-2-3. It was from a really old version of scratch that was leaked on to the internet. My friend showed me. It was very unstable though, and projects often became corrupted due to some unknown bug.

Here's my views. That's an unreleased very old alpha version of scratch. Not much of it has made it original as it contains the basic squeak layout. So obviously it was an experiment by the scratch team. Look at other more basic .image files and you'll see the similar structure.

Here are some images i found from the PDF's. The last one is from Wikipedia, the page for installing 1.3.
From a PDF. Sorry about the bad quality, I had to zoom in. If I can get a better one later, I'll post it again.
Second one. A small part of a newer version than the one above probably.
Nothing special. just Scratch 1.2 or 1.3 I think.
The download page for Scratch 1.3 when it was the latest version. From Wikipedia.
This looks interesting. if only some one had the .image and .changes file...
