M.A.D.S.  (Minecraft Advanced Destruction System)  is one of the most satisfying mods i have ever seen.  GraviTNT, allowing you to suck bricks within a radius inward, then Violently expel them upward, can create mountains, lakes (yes, it can pick up water.)  and the (most of the time) most confusing and griefed-looking landscapes you will ever see!  Directed tnt does the same, but in a certain direction.  And, strip miners.  they will automatically suck up and store all the blocks from the surface to the bedrock layer within a contained X axis radius.  Last, but certainly not least, the ever-hungry, always-expanding, gray goop.  It eats dirt, trees, cobble, and leaves and leaves your world in ruin.  (Strip miners, GraviTNT, and Directed tnt all move bedrock.)  Here's something i somehow pulled while messing around with graviTNT:

I'm not sure, but I've heard of Manic digger, don't know if it's mac compatible though.
