Stop all -paint editor

When I make games I am constantly having to test things but after I make a new sprite on paint or import one, it automatically does Stop All. This means I have to go through the whole game just to check if one little thing works. Maybe in Scratch 2.0 where you will have the pause scripts feature, could you please use that instead of stop all? I know its because of memory usage.

I'm not sure whether this should be in suggestions...:s if it should then please move it. Thanks!

This has been known for a very long time, but not as a bug (as far as I know). I agree this should change though.  smile

Let's move to suggestions, and I support it should only pause.  smile

Agreed  smile
With pausing, it should pause before editing.

Yes, I think this is annoying, as by the time the games on my final versions account, I have played through my games at least 30 times, and I end up not ever playing the finished game. (out of annoyance)

I don't actually have a signature yet, but I still like this.

Scratch 2.0- announced April 19, 2010, and now in alpha!  It looks cool, and finally has cloning  smile  Yay.

I also find it annoying. I think pausing is a good idea.

Re: Stop all -paint editor

I like it.

If you are reading this, please read to the end, because if you don't you won't know what's at the end. Don't just skip to the end though otherwise you won't be able to read the middle, which is most important. Now you must be wondering why you just read all that, the reason is you may have not noticed something, read it again and see if you notice it this time  smile

Re: Stop all -paint editor

Good idea; I never really thought of this because I don't usually make progress based projects. A pause feature would be great in so many applications though - support!
