Checker pieces

How would i make my checker pieces dissapear as i pass over them?

I tried dropping them on top of the pieces, but i can't seem to figure how to make them dissapear.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

If you were to subltly alter the colour of any moving piece, then any stationary piece that it passed over could be checking to see if it were touching that colourm and if it were, could hide.
