I think when people make an account they should have the option of requesting a Scratch Wiki account or making a ScratchEd account. If they chose not to make either accounts on ScratchEd or on the Scratch Wiki later, if they change their mind Scratch could have a link to sign up pages.
Please reply if you like this idea or not.
Thank You!

All account submissions on Scratch Wiki have to be read through and decided whether they should be approved or not... If there was an option to request a Scratch Wiki account whenever a Scratch Website account was created, there would be too many submissions - most of the submitters probably wouldn't be interested in Scratch Wiki anyway. (They'd send a submission just because they might want an account ) And since account approvers comment on people's projects when their accounts get approved (and the comments include links), each of us is limited to creating two accounts every few days. It's not enough...
And I don't know much about ScratchEd ^^

I believe you have to have been with scratch for a while before getting a wiki account, am I correct? I was rejected because of this. But then I re-tried later.

I guess. This probably wasn't well thought out of me.

I think for ScratchEd you have to be a teacher though so that wouldn't work either.

I disagree, a Scratch wiki page for everyone would be nice, but its not like it would do that much for the user. Not to mention it would probably slow down the server. But if you can give me some more reasons why this would be beneficial to Scratch, I'm all ears!
I'm not really against it, I just think it would be unecessary.
