New Scratch Messaging System
As most of you probaly noticed, the Scratch Mesages are only updated every 10 minutes! I dont know about you guys.. but i find this REALLY annoying! It takes a really long time just to check one mesage, then when you go back to chek your mesages, it says you still have ____________ (fill in the blank) messages! I really liked the old system of doing messages, where as soon as you got a comment, it sent you a message telling you right away! If anyone knows why they changed the messaging system, or just wants to express their views on this topic, Please, feel free to comment! thanks! ~~ TheBeatlesLovr~~
Im probaly drawing manga or reading manga..... don't interupt my fun while it lasts! XD

Well, with all the complaints being posted on the forums, I'd say a new messaging system isn't too far away. 
I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

I also like the previous system more but unfortunately our servers cannot handle so many requests per minute so we added something called caching. It basically takes a snapshot of the announcements page every 10 minutes so it doesn't have to generate the page every time you go there which can load the server so much that it makes it very very slow.

Yay! I can see my messages now! But it still loads slowly because I over over 8000. Do you think that you could put in a delete all messages button?

wow. that could take quite awhile... I guess it's because you're such a popular scratcher (actually, it is almost definetly because of that). I only have 891 messages right now, (and I deleted one, in my "scratch bug" project, and my mom deleted one by mistake, and a lot of them are glitches.), but, still, if I decided I wanted to delete all of my messages, it could take some time.

Im so INCREDIBLY glad they finally changed it to updated every 1 minute.. not as good as id like it to be, but good enough! thanks for replying to my forum post everyone! :3 (And yes, i agree, i do get lots of comment clones... which gets really annoying)

Ya know.. it would be kinda nice if they had a 'delete all' buton or even a 'delete selected' button.. but i guess if Keroro645 deleted 300 messages in 10 mins.. it either means we dont need to.. or Keroro just deletes really fast lol
