So, to get this straight, you saw something that you wouldn't even consider to exist before you heard of a certain game, and then decided that the imaginings of the game designer must be real? (I try to write this in all seriousness but the tone always comes out as sarcastic, sorry)

...I've known Pokemon for my entire life. I was born in 2000.
They're more real to me than anyone else in my family. I was the only one who actually has enjoyed it all my life.

They're more real to me than anyone else in my family. I was the only one who actually has enjoyed it all my life.
That worries me a little, but if you hadn't heard of it you would scoff at the idea, correct? Just as you wouldn't believe me if I told you I had seen a Gibwit yesterday.
I tend to find it peculiar how people are more willing to accept the imagination of another as real yet rarely believe their own imaginations to be real, because I can sure tell you I will never see a Gibwit in my life.
(Once again, no sarcasm or offense at all intended, I'm just pointing out an odd observation about people in general)
