Trying to install properly on Windows 7 x64

Scratchers,

Hi we are a school and I am working on our Tablet and notebook image for next school year for our students and Scratch installs fine on Windows 7 32bit which we used last year, when installed on Windows 7 64bit (which we are using next year for a few key apps) the shortcut does not work properly. I have found that changing the target to the C:\Programs Files (x86)\Scratch it does allow it to function properly but, I would prefer not to change the shortcut 400+ times post install.  We currently use a system called kbox to run scripted installs so all apps are installed after the OS is installed on the HDD.  Then all of the applications are silent installed to complete the image.  Any thoughts or suggestions would be very appreciated.

Thanks,

Ron Falkoff

This shouldn't happen...

Yeah, the installer really should be updated to make the shortcut point to to the right path in x64 systems. I'm not really sure what do do about it for now, except maybe a batch script to modify the shortcut or replace it.

Hmm, thats strange - i have the same setup, 7 64 Bit, installs in X86 - No problem. Try files only, that may help a bit.

It's just the shortcut that is automatically created that's the problem, I believe.
