Just wondering if Panther is still being worked on :3

Is 1.0 still the latest version?

Because of nXIII's inactivity we've had to regroup and are trying to get some work done on 1.1, but eventually, even if it takes the a while, it will be released!

just post a comment in the talk file, and it'll be answered, its like a conversation over a long time.

Re: Panther development thread

You should try and put a version of Scratch Live in 1.1 . Here is the topic on it. I can get the code if you want to host your own.

Re: Panther development thread

Is there any possibility of editing the ScratchApplet.jar to support the embedding and loading of .pt files?

In theory yes. Its ust then making it work with most of the new blocks. Though there are some that just won't work with it because they require saving to files on people computers.

I don't want you to take offence, but the team is full. We aren't currently looking for new members, but feel free to download the mod, and if you don't think you can make blocks yourself, theres a block library with a section just for panther blocks.

Re: Panther development thread

Panther devs be sure to check the dropbox!

Everyone else, we're thinking of incorporating a button of some sort into 1.1 that lets you download and import blocks directly from the Panther section of the block library!

What are people's thoughts on "bookmarked" custom blocks? You make a custom block and if you choose to bookmark it the block will add itself to Panther whenever you open it - saves copying out the code of your favourite blocks all the time?

What I could like the most is a block clipboard - so you can just copy and paste the scripts! REPLY ON ONE OF MY PROJECTS IF THIS FEATURE IS POSSIBLE!

I think what we're suggesting eliminates the need for copying and pasting for Panther blocks entirely  smile
