Scratch is a block-based programming language designed to be easy to learn and also be versatile, giving new programmers (or someone just looking for something easy to work with) an easy to use system. http://info.scratch.mit.edu/About_Scratch

Scratch: An awesome site where you can make projects that are pretty much anything from flowers growing to games to an animated show. The Scratch software is free and teaches you how to animate, make a game, etc. It's so fun!
