Message/Notifications Problem

I have a problem with messages/notifications. When I delete my messages and leave that page, it goes back to the same amount as I had before! For example, I had 14 messages, and I deleted them all, then I left the page, but It said I had 14 messages all over again! I tried again two times, nothing! I went to the forums and then went back to the main site, and they were gone! Is this simply because it says that the message are updated every ten minutes, or is it a glitch?

i have a problem where it says i have one message and i lick it and i don't have any but the message bar is still on the top! I haven't seen Andresmh reply to anything, so i hope they're working on it

I got the same problem, but I realised that instead of it just saying message(s) it says message(s) updated every 10 minutes.
