First off, I don't like poetry that much. I do see its usefulness and beauty but I hate analyzing them. This poem was written in about 10 minutes, so it's not absolutely amazing but I have received compliments for it. Just know that the topic is slightly religous, so please don't get too much into that. I tried to write it as a thought provoker, but some of you may not understand why.

Blinding Darkness of the World

Forever shining darkness all around,
blinding all from seeing any path.
Shuffling feet to feel the ground,
finding only the thorn's wrath.

Stumbling, tripping, falling hard,
no man can find his way alone.
Pain of all those marred,
who ignore the light that shone.

Musical voice above all men,
calling home all those who cry.
Ignored by many to the end,
but those who call, will not die.

Whoa, that's really good big_smile If you would be inserested, I'm trying to organize a group of writers on Scratch. It's a work in progress, but look here if you wish. smile (and yes, i'm Liduen. i would post using that account but it's still on new scratcher tongue )

Cool, but I don't know if I'll join. As interesting as it is, I have plans for the summer which are gonna make it a little busy. I won't be able to write much.

LOL, I didn't even have to read the description OR poem to know that it was religious XD. Nice poem! Although I'm not religious myself, I still enjoy it. :>
