Personally, I don't think that any war started by these groups can escalate to a high level of war.  Terrorist attacks take years to plan and even then are risky.  A full out war would give the US a reason to finally start using real force all the time instead of being cautious.  It does seem as though another world war might be on its way though.  The next successful terrorist attack might break the barrier.

No one dares launch a nuke. Chernobyl was a gas leak that lasted for a few seconds and wiped out a city, a nuclear bomb would have global effects.

Well, it was only the loss of one person. Then again, he was the world's most wanted man. I do think, though, Al-Qaeda has just gotten more angry, rather than weaker.

Will there be a war, probably not. Will there be some issues, perhaps.

You are correcting him on the US, when he lives thee and you live in India?
Not trying to be biased or anything, but I would think he knows more about the US than you do.
And don't believe everything you see on TV. They can warp things to seem like something is true when it really isn't. I once saw something on Discovery claiming that 2012 is the real end of the world.

*facepalm* i didnt wanted to share this but well i watch internet feeds , live mostly underground internet , got some freinds that haxxify govt. servers and talk to a ton of americans/chinese/russians/britishers daily , i know US is power hungry but not as my neighbour China ... and Russia    .

and watch discovery carefully they didnt claimed it was true    , they first said this is what the prophecies say then the started ripping it off totally and telling 99.9 % THis wont happen ..!!

Dude, USA did 911. They killed almost three thousand to go to Iraq and take their oil. That is much more power-hungry than anything.

I suppose that is kind of true. The US is usually upfront in war with the UK just behind, starting battles which lead to events like 911. It's a reason for Islamic Fundamentalists to hate the West. But then again, Islamic Fundamentalists aren't very... open minded.
