We should put on the front page; the people online and the onec that are offline so you can check everyone's stuff!

Umm... there are millions of scratchers, and thousands online at a time. This would make the front page too huge for most computers. And I think this has been suggested before.
Retired from Scratch, but just the language itself. Not the forums.

You know, maybe a better way of doing this would be being able to see how many of your friends are online. 
RANDOM THOUGHT: If the tomato is a fruit, doesn't that make ketchup a smoothie?

Yeah. I agree with them that it would be huge. I also agree that it should show friends that are online. (:

But then again, some people have like 100 friends. So maybe it isnt such a good idea....

Perhaps you could choose friends that you want to 'watch' for their online/offline status, with a maximum being 10?
This would mean you could easily watch for some peoples status, without taking to much room
