True, not all animations are good. But not all games are, either.

You were implying that Scratch was only for games. That really irritates me. But you're right. I think the front page should have half games and half animations. Then everyone would be happy....

Yeah, there should be like a top game top animation, etc thing on the front page. That way everyone could be happy.

Well it's good that finally some decent projects got to the FP, but I don't see why you guys are still arguing over what's better. Scratch was meant to be a programming language for beginners and most decent animations (and I mean ANIMATIONS. Not DRAWINGS OF ANTHROS WITH LINKIN PARK MUSIC IN THE BACKGROUND.) do actually require quite a bit of programming, and coordination.

That, and the top loved/viewed are meant to show what the majority of the community is watching at the moment. Yes, that means a majority of us Scratchers is interested in animations, drawings with LP music in the background, and Add Yourself chains. In short, we're a minority outside the forums and we'll just have to deal with this.

What's wrong with a good animation?
Not something like a random run cycle, but actual episodes of things are pretty cool 

I never said anything was wrong with good animation, just that there's virtually none on scratch.

Of course people aren't going to better their animations if all you're going to do is be a Negative Nancy. You should encourage animators more so they can work harder to improve.
