Before I start, let me say three things:
1. Don't come and say 'All Fanfictions are Horrible!' and all that other annoying stuff.
2. Don't rant about how bad the 11th doctor is.
3. Please be serious, I want to write a good fanfic.

So I want to write a fan-fiction for Doctor Who, my favorite television series. It will be with the eleventh doctor (don't even start saying he is bad, do that somewhere else) and of course Amy and Rory.

The problem is, I already have writers block! I need ideas.

Give me just basic things: Some famous past figures he could meet, some places he could go or notable times he could witness. Or some new kind of aliens or some recurring aliens he will encounter.

Also, if you suggest something, don't say I took/stole your idea, because by posting it here, you are giving it to me to use. Remember that.

1. I love a good fanfic (I've never read one before, though)
2. He's the best Doctor ever!
3. Here are my suggestions:

What's your favourite monster? Use that in your story. For instance, you could have the Vashta Nerada, or the Weeping Angles, or the Daleks, or even the Silence.

Decide what planet you want to set in on. Earth? Or some other planet? You could have a Vashta story based on Earth, but as the Doctor said, there aren't so many on Earth. But that's where the twist comes in. You could have some sort of space rift opening up on Earth, connected to a planet with a much larger amount of Vasta. That causes lots more of them to come to the Earth and the Doctor has to stop it in some way.

You could even try and invent your own monster. Anyway, be imaginative. wink

I love fanfics big_smile I write a lot (none of them finished yet tongue I'm considering making a new Scratch account just to post my stories). The only Dr. Who i've seen though is like the first 5-8 minutes of the most recent season opener. I was confused 0_o But it looks like a good show (I love sci-fi and fantasy)

Of the newer one?
I find that season 1-3 we're good, but then season 4 was much better. Then season 5 and now 6 blew all of them out of the park.

Yeah I saw that. In Doctor Who Confidential they got one of the actors in The Silence costume to do a robot dance. It was so funny! lol

Yeah I saw that. In Doctor Who Confidential they got one of the actors in The Silence costume to do a robot dance. It was so funny!
