Does anyone else want a pitch sensor block for the microphone? I mean it can't be much harder to program than the volume sensor. Besides, it would have a million uses. Need I remind you that regular sounds are based in pitch? A pitch sensor could be used for free voice recognition software! You could hum into the mic and make a program that converts humming to any instrument offered. Lastly, if you combine the pitch and volume sensors, the pen, and the X and Y blocks to make a voice-operated etch-a-sketch! If you don't write back that you agree to prove to the scratch team that it needs to be made, you're essentially saying that that wouldn't be cool.

Well, I used Audacity for my pitch editing, but it would be SUPER easy with a block.

I can see this as a working idea, for people who don't have Audacity anyways.

Actually, I think it would be harder, and impossible in squeak.
