Mnn, I don't really see it that way - I stumble on a lot of chat gallery topics that break the Terms of Use, and from reading them, I'd might say they're worse in behavior than what I've seen in Miscellaneous.

Aside from that, most Miscellaneous flare-ups are usually controlled fairly quickly because there's usually someone who is watching over them; and on calm days, Miscellaneous can actually be rather quite nice with interesting discussions (like discussions about experiencing a Ramadan fasting, going to MIT, long words, art critique, or Salvador Dali).

Something I've noticed with Miscellaneous over the years is that usually trouble spots are limited either to certain topics or certain users (and when these are usually taken care of, then the mischief goes away), so I'm not inclined to think that Miscellaneous is the main problem here (hence why I believe closing it completely doesn't help).

It think its more up to us Scratchers who currently use Miscellaneous to turn it into something more positive. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: The power of remarkable change is in our hands. Now let's use that power to move Miscellaneous in the right direction.

No, it's not.


The part that's bad is that people take advantage of the "freedom". Kinda like when one does something bad, they say "it's a free country." Besides, Misc. is the only REASON the forums are known.

Well, there needs to be a place to have a discussion you can't decide where to place...

I did but then I got banned. 

I started liking misc a little while ago; I want to keep it.

Why? If anything you shouldn't be allowed on the main forums... 

Why? It's because they don't want me "wasting time" playing games with people who are banned, but it's OK if I'm helping people here. They don't know about misc.
