Your a New Scratcher, wanting to be a Scratcher. What can you do?
There are many things you can do.
I. Make Projects
Post your Scratch Projects to the Site. This helps greatly with the ranks. People complain without uploading sometimes, and this is why.
Don't know how?
Click the button on the Scratch Program that has a brown paper with a white arrow.
Click it, name your project, and add anything else.
Put in your name + password (It won't be stolen.)
And click Upload. And voila! On the site!
II. Post on the Forums
You should post actively on the forums. The 360 second wait should be an encouragement to think through your posts to make sure its not:
<go to x )y <turn cw( )degrees><move( )steps>
[/blocks]
.
That type of stuff gets you warned and banned from the site.
What should I post like?
Take a look at Kileymeister's or Harakou's posts. They are an example of good, not half written posts.
III. Comment on other's projects!
Comment on other people's projects! Post constructive criticism (helping advice) and post things you liked!
If you want to link to your project, compare it to their project. Be nice about it. This can cause problems if your mean. Tell what you liked about it, and tell how your project can cover some things, and their project others.
IV. Aid the community!
In the All About Scratch forum, people generally need help with things. Go ahead and if you know what they need help with, help them! This is generally very helpful and will help you get to Scratcher!
V. Don't be a poor poster.
Don't post half written posts, as these are annoying.
And then I
Don't BlockSpam. This is really annoying, and can get you a ban.
<go to[ <go to[ <go to[ <go to[ <glide( )secs to x )y <glide( )secs to x )y
[/blocks]
Don't excessive smiley. This is unacceptable. Also known as Smiley Walling.
If you read all this, you should be on the way to earning yourself a well-respected place in the community!

I like this a lot, it should be stickied! It answers a lot of the questions I had when I first joined, and I see new users asking them all the time too. I'm still a New Scratcher because I don't upload any projects haha

Nice guide. You made a typo: "can net you to a ban."

Oh, so that's how you become a Scratcher! I tried to ask Jabbia101 (her status is Scratcher) but she was offline and wouldn't pick up her phone. And you don't ask keffer111 stuff like that, because he never knows the awnser. But this was really helpful!!
