I am making something (not telling you.) and my OS doesn't allow me to change icons. Help? (It only changes shortcut icons)

For my program. (It was coded in Squeak.)

No idea. Also, this should be in "Advanced Topics" if it was made in squeak.

Lets look at the Scratch icon. It is a cat's head. How do I change that?

This actually shouldn't because it has nothing to do with scratch, just changing something on your computer.

I assume that changing icons varies from OS to OS. How about giving us the name of the OS that you are working on? That should give us just enough info for other Scratchers to provide help on your icon issue.

Ah.
Make your way over to Control Panel > User Accounts + Family Safety > User Accounts. Find yours, click "Change Your Picture". Then find the one you want, hit "OK" and be done with it.
Now, if this is custom, then disregard what I said and have fun searching.

This is for an app, not a user!

I know how to for a shortcut in Vista, but not a program.
EDIT: Oh, you said you know how.
Edit2: I can also do it for a folder, but I don't think that's what you want.

Like I said, disregard it if it doesn't apply.
I could tell you how to do that in Ubuntu to some extent, but not Windows. I'm pretty sure you can do that in Windows, but I don't remember how.
