NOTE: This is not downloading Minecraft! We are modding it.

First, you need to download this so we can mod Java. Then you will need this This is the mod. (Not made by me!)

Now, open your app data folder (by going to run and typing %appdata%)
Open .minecraft, then bin, and right click the minecraft.jar file and Open it with WinRAR.) If you notice, there is a whole bunch of junk. Open up the folder where TooManyItems is and it is pretty simple. Drag EVERYTHING BUT readme.txt!
Next, delete in the minecraft.jar file a folder called META-INF (This will NOT effect Minecraft.)
You're done! Open Minecraft and open your items. You should see a new thing to the right with a bunch of items! Explain your success or troubleshooting here, or at the Minecraft Forums.

EDIT: You can use 7-Zip! Just right click and on 7-Zip, press open archive.
