I saw Thor today, and thought it was pretty good. They did a great job with the orgin story, and it wasn't cheesy. They also did a nice job setting up the avengers movie, through the use of SHEILD, and dropping the Stark name a couple times. Not as good as Iron Man, but still good.

It's quite funny to watch them setting up the whole Avengers movie. Especially if you know why SHIELD was created and all of that.
Mabye they should make a SHIELD movie? That I would pay good money to see.

True, it was one of the few times they don't screw up the origin story at least.
Had an okay ending too.

I kinda wanna see it exept for the fact that the ending is probably predictable. As usual for me with the Marvel comics movies.
I mean, half the time. they take one of the plot lines from the book and use that as an ending or end it the way the comic ended.
Or, in the case of the Avenengers, ask the hero tl join the avengers after the credits or something.
I could rant forever but I don't want to defeat the purpose of an Avengers movie for you guys.

The SHIELD Movie is going to be the Avengers movie. The Avengers are SHEILD. At least to my understanding.
Thors ending had some good twists to it. Yet, most of it was predictable, but taht doesn't make it bad.
Best Part: LARP fest in the middle of town.

Well, SHIELD and the Avengers are in reality two seperate things. Most of the Avengers happen to work for SHIELD.
To tell you more would be kinda, well, ok. you forced my hand.
SHIELD is an orginization formed by Col. Nick Fury primarily to defeat soviet terror group HYDRA.
