In Ireland it's way different.. Most schools are single gender so it was fairly ok for me I couldn't have been mixed lol But in fifth class(fifth grade, year 6) we got the changes talk with no video just some one talking and then in sixth class it was the same just about babies aswell. In 1st year(grade 7,year8) it was just changes again and a terrible cartoon video. And now this year in 2nd year(eighth grade, year 9) it was about babies in more detail. I don't get it like from what you guys are saying from America and Britain it's so different and straight forward here they're afraid to say anything! Like it's all out of our SPHE class which stands for Social Physical Health Education and it's all out of a book during class it's not organised it anything..
I live in Ireland. In a mixed school, so that I don't get socially *. But they made both genders watch it.
Yeah there are a lot of mixed schools too. To be honest I'd prefer to be in a mixed school but my parents just put me down for this because practically all schools in my area are girls schools so it was handy. Like I do activites outside of school a with opposide gender and stuff so how am I socially *?
I didn't say you were. Its just that with some kids, if they don't get enough social activity, they rush through things, if you catch my drift.

no offence if anyone like it but I hate it. (off topic)
I personally love being in a mixed school. I can befriend both genders, and this also gives me social freedom, like having girlfriends, sleep overs with my mates, ect.

Yeah it is better in my opinion. I can still have sleepovers with my friends and I do quite often and I have lots of friends who are boys outside of school but still it would be better to be in a mixed school as I would get to see them more often and stuff.
Anyway back on topic lol

You know how in Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Ugly Truth, Greg had to watch that video about "Bodily Changes"?
Guess what? I'm watching a movie about "Bodily Changes" next month. Hoorah.
They're even seperating the girls and boys. I WONDER WHY.
So yeah, dicussificationilary what I should expect and if you've ever had any experience with this stuffs and whatnot.
Just started doing gender organized classes for HUMAN GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT. We haven't seen the video yet. We just talk about kind of weird things but it's not that awkward because our teacher who teaches us normal stuff (i.e math and history) teaches us girls HGAD, but the reason it's not awkward is because our teacher is only 29 so it doesn't like scar us for life or anything.
It's not that bad, especially if you know most of the stuff already.

I went to something like that but it was through a Christian perspective. Let me tell you, the video wasn't bad, it was the fact that a kid behind me would point out stuff like "OH LOOK, IT'S HAIRY" or "HAHA MY SISTER WILL BE SO JEALOUS."
I slept with nightmares for 3 weeks.
