In the bottom-right corner of the window in non-presentation mode offline Scratch, there is a little bit that says "x: (number) y: (number)". When the glitch occured, the grey area completely disappeared (except for a rectangle around the numbers) along with the "x" and the "y", and blinked occasionally when I moved the mouse. This was only a minor glitch and is temporary, having no permanent implications, but what is interesting is that it doesn't trigger an error even with error catching on. Any ideas? I have a screenshot that I can upload if necessary.
I'm using Windows Vista (which is a problem itself
)

Paragraph #1 reply: This may be related to the disappearing text glitch. What were you doing before it happened?

Sorry i didn't see your reply, Magnie. It may have to do with the fact that I had three Scratch windows open.

Yeah, it's probably a
- memory error
- common glitch that happened to me too which has nothing to do with memory.

^^^ I just noticed that was a really helpful answer -- could be all, could be nothing

Do I need to post my screenshot?

Nope. This happened to me before. I think you should ignore it; it happens on most computers.

I once posted about this. Thanks Magnie, that might be it.

I alternate between a Vista laptop and a XP desktop. Right now I'm using the XP. It takes 10 minutes to boot up so I usually use the Vista, but the Vista is having technical issues. And, believe it or not, it's not an OS problem.
