Re: Beta Flash player

It created its own center of costume and messed up the whole game. this works on java, though. here's the project: [url]http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/komodo66/1765119[url]

Re: Beta Flash player

I've found that for the most part it works beautifully, but then again one of my projects happens not to work on it! it's a platformer where you get to control the platforms, but for some reason my stickman falls straight through the platforms all the time! It's beginning to make me wonder if perhaps the new player doesn't process the scripts in exactly the same way as the java/ squeak player.

Re: Beta Flash player

It sounds fantastic. I'd love to try this on my blog http://flash-animations.blogspot.com/. I just wanted to know I am embeding buttons on my blogspot and they aren't working correctly, is that flash problem or blogspot problem? Thank you admin!  smile

Re: Beta Flash player

The frames of my game are so much smoother, no more skips! The jump precision is better, too! The full screen option is wonderful! The loading time is lowered! THE LAG IS COMPLETELY GONE! I LOVE IT! COME PLAY MY GAME WITH THE FLASH PLAYER AND THEN JAVA, SEE WHAT YOU LIKE! http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Kanemoclanofpie2000/1771424

Re: Beta Flash player

Very good!

And one bug, in one of my project, "Twinkle, twinkle little star"

In Java, list isn't messed up.

In Flash, list is messed up.

Compare.

I luv it, all projects should be like this, NO MORE FLOPPY FRAME RATES!  big_smile

Please read this until the end, because at some point, you will get a clue on the mystery, what mystery you may ask? Well, you will find the answer in the beginning, if you miss it, read it again, maybe you will find my treasure, who knows, it's hidden in the middle, you wanna know where in the middle it is? Check the end.

Re: Beta Flash player

apparently it has some issues with rendering lists.  you should look into that.

Re: Beta Flash player

It's really fast. I played a project on it and it was faster than offline. o_O

This is a temporary signature. It will exist until I think of something witty.

Re: Beta Flash player

The new flash player is great! Except the color effect doesn't work in flash.

Re: Beta Flash player

it is awesome. It decreases lag and glitches by a huge amount. It doesn't defeat the glitches totally though.  smile

Re: Beta Flash player

I think this player is really cool. The graphics are much better. Why is on the Scratch program the graphics quality is not so good? Why do not improve?

Greetings

Re: Beta Flash player

That is so cool  smile . It all worked perfectly, and it was definitely less laggy for me than the java player! Plus I love the new full-screen element, I think it helps LOADS! The only thing that I would say is that every time a developer switches from java to flash, Oracle get real mad! And remember, oracle know where you live...

Re: Beta Flash player

Sizing is a little of.  Only noticable on level 8 and 10.  It made level 10 impossible to beat online in Flash (until I adjusted it)
