login problem

(this has happened about a week ago) I went to login. I put all my information in and it went to a user named "login" i went to sighnup and it went to a user named 'sighnup"
but its all fixed now. BUT, i want an explanation. :?

I had the same experience, at least with the login part.  I figured that part of the system was down so I just quit out and waited an hour or two.
