I used to have Scratch, months ago but our computer got a virus so we formatted the computer, but now I can't download it because after saying that I trust the publisher and hit "Run", it shows a message:
"NSIS Error
Installer integrity check has failed. Common causes include incomplete download and damaged media. Contact the installer's author to obtain a new copy.
More information at:
http://nsis.sf.net/NSIS_Error"
I'm running a Windows XP, on a broadband connection, with Internet Explorer 8. Help!

P.S. Why has Scratch not had a new version after 1.4 in 3 years?

It's good practice to read what the error says and follow the instructions:
"Installer integrity check has failed. Common causes include incomplete download and damaged media. Contact the installer's author to obtain a new copy."
As for the P.S., the Scratch Team is developing Scratch 2.0, which is supposed to be a major upgrade to the program. It's being remade completely into Flash, which will take some time.
