I tested it and for some reason, Scratch corrupts my sound files. Here's what I did:
I did a recording in Audacity.
I exported it to my desktop in .wav form.
I double-clicked, and it played via Windows Media Player.
I then imported it to Scratch. It played in there as well.
I then exported it from Scratch to the desktop.
A message came up saying, "Windows Media Player encountered a problem while playing the file." when I try to play it.
It was exported from Scratch as .wav file and appeared on the desktop at a .wav file.
What is going on? Has this happened to anyone else? Is there a way to fix it?

Why did you export it from scratch when you already had the file from just recording it? Actually, why did you do any of these things like this?

I saved a sound only in scratch and I wanted to edit it in Audacity, but when I opened the file, I couldn't see any of the sounds I wanted to import. I actually did get to a view where I could see them an they had locks on their icons.
