Scratch Blocks post with values added by section links.
The only thing changed is the number of blocks in that category is there, then we can remove it from the other place.
But then what's the point of a stats page?

Were you the one that uploaded two new BYOB sprites?
Yes, yes I was.

Not sure where you asked this sparks (don't want to bother delving in the last 3 pages), but a block file would contain something like what's in nXIII's patch files.

Just tried to add a download, but I don't think it work...

[VERY ANNOYED] WHEN ARE YOU ADDING MY BLOCKS! [/VERY ANNOYED]
These blocks run with your online SQL system. Are you sure that you have finished work on it? Happy with it all because if you want to make changes to these blocks later older copies people download may conflict.
My main worry is that with your system anyone can wipe/reset another's variable but if you're happy with the blocks I can add them
I am happy with them.

Sparks, why did you originally start the Library? I want to know for the wiki page I'm working on.
EDIT: Also, how many blocks were in it originally?

I started work on the Library because at the time, the block making craze had appeared (just after the mod making craze started) and places were starting to spring up all over the fora asking for block code, giving block code or having block code competitions and I felt that if these blocks could all be collected and ordered into one place with a nice layout and structure this would benefit everyone! If you remember the first draft of this library, where all blocks from all categories were in one post without images or anything you will realise how far it has come, and though I've been the one making the changes it's many of the communities ideas that have shaped the library to how it looks now.
As I would have thought obvious, this library contained nothing when it first started
If you look at the first few replies in the old block library someone will probably have quoted the entire library or part of it at least so that might let you see how it looked originally.

I thought that might be the reason.
There aren't any quotes.
I wasn't on Scratch when it started.

What was the date? I wan't to know. Was in the craze I believe, but wasn't a forumer. I am not sure, so I want to know when it was.

I tried to make one but it never worked, I found blockspecs wouldn't work as well as I thought.

The block library started: 15/07/2010. I remember I spammed about 30 Panther blocks in it.

Oh.. LOL! That makes sense. (i think) So it was July, 15, 2010. Nope, I wasn't there. Well, not on the scratch website at least, my first post on the site was 10/17/2010, but that was like a month after I downloaded scratch. So at the most a month before October, 17, 2010, would be September, 17, 2010, still not there. Also after my first post on scratch it was like a month at the least before I even looked at the forums. Back then scratch seemed so much bigger.

I'm trying out this block importer thingamabobber. So, I got the block file browser up, but exactly how do I actually get the block? Do I copy the spec and the code into a text file, or are there separate files, or what?
Thanks!

the blockspec (the single line of code with the block name in it) usually goes in Scratch-Objects >> ScriptableScratchMorph (class not instance) >> block specs and then pasted in with the others where you want it to appear in your copy of Scratch.
for the code, unless otherwise stated it should go in ScriptableScratchMorph (instance not class) >> <name of category you want>ops.
Hope that helps

Hey! Blocks 57 & 58 for panther are pretty cool, but could you do the same for lists?

Thanks for trying-I mean the thing that you install onto Scratch and it appears in the file menu as "Import Block". You know-that thing that is based of "patcher" code. It's in post 39.
Thanks! I'll try the source way though.
EDIT: What's with the mysterious forum blocks in the quote? I had to use (blocks)(/blocks) to stop everything from getting bold!

Operators: 49!?
I knew it!
We have way too many Operators blocks.I would say we should look at some, also, in scratch there are some not needed, the < < > = < > > and the (- ( ) ) blocks, are redundant, the = you can use the < [ ] = [ ] > block and the negative you can use the ( ( ) - ( ) ) block (just put the number you want negative of in the second insert.)
Should we take these off sparks?

Important: I have discovered a working execute script block for Fission. It also reports reporters. Blockspec:
('report / execute script %B' #- #reportExecute:)
reportExecute: t1 ^ t1
It only works to run a single block at a time.

The logo does not show an image... Cooltext does not host their images for long after your generation is complete so you need to host it somewhere else!
I think that maybe we should remove them, if the section is getting really clogged. Otherwise maybe we could add a "useful scripts" section to the library where things like (-( )) can be demonstrated as a script ( ( ) * )-1) ).

I think that would be good, and BTW, the best way is just one block:
(( <-> number goes here ))
