wow people..
why do people think 2012 is the end of the world!!! So what is all this crazy talk? We’ve all heard these doomsday predictions before, we’re still here, and the planet is still here, why is 2012 so important? Well, the Mayan calendar stops at the end of the year 2012, churning up all sorts of religious, scientific, astrological and historic reasons why this calendar foretells the end of life as we know it. but people, really ?

i bet you they will make another "end of the world year" in 2999.then no one would be freakin out. but this is a true fact: its 4.5 billion years from now!

Because 2012 is the end of the world. Haven't you seen the movie '2012'? Some time traveller filmed it and earned billions in the movie department.

All the scientists say it will end in 5 billion years or so, but that's just when the sun collapses! Of course, there are many problems, as the sun could...

•Turn into a black hole
•Go all supernova on us

Well, it's estimated that the sun has only increased in size about 6% since the creation of the universe, so we won't need to worry about that for a looooooong time...

Only much bigger stars can do these - the most the sun will do is turn into a red giant once it dies (in 5 billion years).
So... yeah, don't get your hopes up that you'll see it end in your lifetime
I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.
