Sure...the splatter paint artist guy!

There, I pretty much just exhausted my knowledge of Mr. Pollock  smile

Hey, how about a Jackson Pollock paint project, where you can "sling" paint at the screen and have it splatter all over the place?  Gotta give that a try....

Well if you wanted honesty, that's all you had to say. I never want to let you down or have you go, it's better off this way.

Re: Jackson Pollock

I did a project on Jackson Pollock when we all did projects on artists in fifth grade

For me the best part was when we had to imitate the artists style  tongue

Yeah, I know a lot about him. What in particular did you want to know?

Re: Jackson Pollock

Not much. You say you had to imitate the artists style, so did you make a 'splatter' painting? If you did, how did you do it? Im thinking of doing one on the floor of my garage, but are there any techniques?

sling it

a flick of the wrist seems to work best, and get lots of paint on the brush

Re: Jackson Pollock

We're doing a project about him in art. He splatters paint and apparently does it in a completely planned way.

Aha! I've finally done the painting! If you ever find fifty bucks lying on the ground buy the supplies and do it. Its so fuuuuun! When it dries tommorow ill take a picture of it. My moms friend at work is willing to pay me to do one for her. Maybe ill buy the new foo fighters album, or the strokes.

Re: Jackson Pollock

I didnt use a brush, I just slung paint at it with those paint stirring sticks, and cans with paint in them. It is amazing fun.
