If you think about it, it's another step towards peace and another back away from it. Arguably, killing Osama is one step towards peace, but this may just anger Al Quaeda, Taliban and Islamic Fundamentalists enough to want revenge, which may come in the form of more terrorist attacks. And Al Quaeda already have a new leader, so...
I thought instead of osama you wrote...
Nevermind. This will start a flame war.

Was this during an Osama Bin Laden discussion or just randomly?...if randomly, that's pretty sad
It was the topic of his breakfast.
@RocksAndFire: Don't worry, the news typo'd it to say Obama.

I hated this person. He was one of the very few I actually wanted dead. I'm so happy and relieved that he died, but the terrorist threat is still there, because only one person, a very important one, was killed. The 9/11 victims, and all others all over the world who died because of him would be very happy to know of his dead. Even though we are one step closer to stopping terrorism, we are also one step further, because, now, we have to deal with Osama's followers, who might be seeking revenge. D: This makes me feel so sad!

But first of all, I'm beginnin to doubt he's dead. If the American government is so brilliant, why did they drown the body? They claimed it was Muslim tradition, but then it's supposed to happen 24 hours after death. We, as the American people have no proof whatsoever he's said. Don't trust the government. Just cause they said they tested DNA doesn't mean they did. Give menproof America.
They drowned the body to prevent the creation of a shrine for his followers to worship.

Well, 12three as my geography teacher put it, some people won't rest until they are 1000% sure. They have PICTURES of his dead body, they tested the DNA, he's dead! Why would the government send a bunch of Navy SEALs to a random mountain in Pakistan only to lie about the death of a super terrorist! If they lie, then he would become more powerful, because he would still be out there, planning his attack, but no one would be concerned because they all think he died. But anyway, that's my logic

I never knew who this person was until today. But since 9/11 hasn't the USA increased its defenses against terrorists? Also, the possibility of the states being bombed are not high because the mastermind who planned it all was killed. He was the smartest terrorist out there.

Eh, not neccessarily. He was just rich, so he could fund all the evil terrorist acts.

Yeah, but he planned 9/11. Its not easy to assault the USA. My teacher told me he was very brilliant. I also want to say that I am a Christian and don't belive that we should celebrate this person's death even though he is bad. I am happy that this man is gone and can't do anything else to us, but we shouldn't celebrate.

Also anyone who believes me:
What's the big concern if they take 'Osamas' body to pit in a shrine?
Also you really think they can steal it from the president.

Nobody wants it to become a place to mourn over him, and it could even become a terrorist base of operations.

So nobody can be sad? First of all, there's more proof that the government did 911 then terrorists. Second is America really going to have like a party at the white house cause they killed an innocent man? Nope. Kinda strange how they're not celebrating eh?

Dude, so you have chosen to believe the runners of the country are evil and each new president continues the tradition? O.o
My dad called people like you on the level of insane earlier.
But they aren't celebrating cause he didn't do much in the operations anymore.
