Someone made a insta-death hole and I fell into it and died. I lost all my stuff. Can I get my stuff back because it's not my fault?

I had a steel pick, a diamond sword, a diamond shovel, 2 buckets, 1 bow, 64 arrows, 2 wheat, 3 redstone, 1 steel axe, 1 steel hoe, a clock, a compass, about 30 glass, and that's about it.

Wow. Just wow. To say that MS8 was amazing would be a horrible understatement. Here's what happened. I made a mineshaft and once I'd hit layer 9 I started to make a base. And then bam, diamonds. In the middle of the base. Full of happiness, I started my first tunnel and before long, yep, diamonds. I then started my next tunnel (by far the most successful) and after a fair distance I hit more diamonds. (I also found various other minerals along the way, obviously.) I continued the tunnel and eventually hit a dungeon. It was a skeleton dungeon. I made a small window and looked in. There were about 10 skeletons but I never got hit, since the first one to fire hit another and that caused it to fire hitting another and so on. There was an epic battle and the winner was extremely injured so a hit of my sword and he was down. I surrounded the spawner with torches and went in. I looked in the chest and found some iron, 2 cocoa beans, a bucket, and 2 wheat. I then collected the moss and set a warp to it because SSSS wanted to make a skelly mob trap. S4 warped and we explored the cave which was attached to it. It was fairly small but still held a few diamonds which we split. SSSS then noticed a cave behind the diamonds which contained another pocket of diamonds. This cave was giant and had tons of paths and tunnels. Oh yes, and about half a billion mobs. We searched around and found a couple more pockets of diamonds. Then I went off to post, er, this.
