Scratch EXE Creator is yet another way to turn one of your Scratch projects into an EXE, with one new, revolutionary feature: it can put the project back into the EXE after you've saved it! This is helpful with any project where you can save your progress.
Download it from here (or here if you use Windows XP) and enjoy! Don't worry about how to use it, there are instructions included.
The current version is 1.1.
Older versions:
1.0.1
it asks me to choose an application to run it, which one do i use?

Windows should know how to run it. I assume you're trying to run CreateScratchEXE.bat? Or are you opening the zip file? Windows should know how to open that, too. Post a screenshot (press Print Screen on top right of keyboard, open Paint, paste, save, and upload) and/or clarify.

oh i'm useing a mac
do you have it out for mac
Nope, sorry, EXEs are Windows only. There is software that can run EXEs on a Mac, but then everyone you give the EXE to would have to have that software as well. I'm not sure if this works, but you can try getting BYOB, opening your Scratch project with it, clicking the "Share" menu, and then clicking "Compile This Project...".
There's also another APP creator somewhere, just use the search on the forum.

It keeps failing. I say I don't want a custom image, but then it tries looking for the file any ways. and even if I say yes to a custom Image or not, it say: Error in script "Required files/scratch_project.nsi" on line 3. That means the XP version's line 3 needs to be changed.... It should work fine, I just tested the XP version. Try downloading again, you may have gotten a corrupt version.

Thanks!
if it's not working, read the instructions!
thanks
So true! People try to stumble around anything nowadays to find out how to make it work on their own when there's perfectly simple directions in the instructions.

Can you make this compatible with the YPR format please?

I might make a BYOB version sometime. For now, you can load your project in BYOB, click the "Share" menu, and then click "Compile This Project...". Of course, if you want repacking, you'll have to wait for me to make a BYOB version.

windows 7 64 bit
I start the CreateScratchEXE.bat and type in the name. After that i want to agree with Y, but if i press the button Y on my keybord, there is just a loud 'beep'.

Thanks!
The XP version just changes some commands in CreateScratchEXE.bat that don't work in XP, and the commands I changed them to work with all Windows OSes (in Windows 2000 and up), so I'll prolly just release 1 version that works with everything in the next version. Saves space

I want one where it opens presentation mode in a window, not fullscreen.
P.S. I use Windows 7, but for some reason I want the Windows XP one.

I was working on a feature where you could toggle between the full screen and windowed mode, but I never got an answer to my problem. I'll go bump that thread.
