40 dead in Alabama

Due to that massive tornado, 40 people have been killed in Alabama. Let's keep the families of those 40 people in our thoughts and prayers.

Gah, I can't think of what to post here other than: "I feel sorry for those areas"...

That doesn't add up to much.

The tornado in Tuscaloosa was a F5, the most powerful they get.

All this is even worse for me, because I live in Alabama. Even though you only hear about the Tuscaloosa F5, there were more than 120 tornadoes. Two F2s them were within 30 mins of where my grandparents live (One of them within 15 mins). They have no power. No water, either.  sad

Also, the F5 affected a nuclear power plant nearby.  sad

Fortunately, I live in the southern part of Alabama, so I got lucky. Only a little rain, and not much else.

IDK if I am related to any of the 40 dead, but I hope not.

Awful lot of natural disasters/political fails...
I don't want to put this out there but maybe the worlds ending.

Re: 40 dead in Alabama

I live there, in Bham. There's 184 as of now.
It skipped right over us. I'm glad for the good of all of us.

Except the ones who are dead.
But there's no sense crying over every mistake.
You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.
And the Science gets done.
And you make a neat gun.
For the people who are still alive.

Sorry, just had to do it. I could almost see the tornado from my house, though.

That is ridiculous.

Ridiculous is not a real word to me. Anything can happen at any time anywhere.

Re: 40 dead in Alabama

I heard the death toll has reached +250. I live in South AL, though I have a few relatives who live up near Tuscaloosa and Birmingham.
