Rating Star

In each project, I think you should put a star rating whether you like it or not, 5 stars, 4 stars, and so on. Only a suggestion!

It's a good idea because it might stop people from getting as many mean comments, since the posters could just rate it instead.

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

it could make people dislike scratch or be full of themselves depending on the ratings

This suggestion has been posted many times.

It won't be implemented because it would discourage some users.

As archmage said, scratch is made for people just starting out and to give new programers a helping hand. If a person just started programing in scratch, getting a awfull rating would completly put them off from scratch and programing in general

That's what ignore lists are for.  I think it's a good idea because it would be nice to know how much people like it.  Perhaps it could show the average instead of every single rating posted.  If it has discouraging potential, there could be a way to turn it on and off.
