collab chalenges
I think there should be 2 collab challenges a year one in summer and in winter.
I also think that you should have a winner on tyhe front page under collab challenge winner for about a week.
But everybody's project made for it will be front paged(unless it is against the rules of the challenge or has no effort.)
Who agrees?

I have no idea if or when another one might happen. It wouldn't be a bad idea to have them more often though.

How often have they been until now? I haven't been on Scratch for a while, so I don't exactly know...

If everyone's project were to be frontpaged, then I would just enter a project with three sprites spinning. That would make people like archmage, who put tons of work into it, frustrated.
I do agree with the longer time.
Maybe they could just make a sidebar place for three at a time, for one week each, then it would change. That way it wouldn't interrupt the curators.
It could be on tyhe front page. (yes, TYHE!)

The problem with showing some effort is that the scratch team often seems to mess up with deciding (no offense). For example, I saw one featured project what was sprites bouncing across the screen, that's it.
