I use to be kind of afraid of it because I would post the problem (so the user knew and could expect it to be reported) and then report, and when I was wrong about whatever I said, the oh-so happy tone of forum mods almost cam across rude/smart-alecy and I thought I was bothering them.

I almost always hit the report button, but sometimes, when people have made posts along the lines of "duplicate" or "inappropriate," I assume they have already reported it and don't report it myself.

I haven't seen much inappropriate stuff. I mean, I think I've flagged the (bad word) once or twice. Maybe even some other bad language. I flag as soon as I see it. That's all I have to say.

Offline
I used to do it a lot, but now I think twice because I think either "it's not worth the trouble" or "someone else probably reported it already, so why bother?"

Sometimes i just have problems telling whether the offending post/project/comment is offending or not.
It has to be fairly blatant for me to know instantly.

Woah, did cheddargirl just BUMP?
Is there a problem with bumping? Lots of people do it, and it is very much tolerated as long as it isn't done to an excess

I usually only use it for really serious stuff. Not like I see too much inappropriate content in these forums in the few times I visit (when I come here it's usually to post in the Minecraft topics.
).

Cause I could.
Really, it looked like there were several answers, and who knows, it could go on for weeks. If there is a large statistical change I'll change it.

No, no bored at all. Far from it actually. Frankly I wish there were less reports (but that's under the guise that issues are being reported when need be).
It actually has been an issue for a while, but I haven't thought much of it until something fairly serious just happened recently that made me trigger to ask this question.

Are you allowed to tell us what?

I think it would be best not to say the "trigger event" at this point since it's one of those things that are usually best left up to the Scratch Team and the users involved.

OK.
Is it good to report suggestions that are this? (Like I just did.)
EDIT: 2222nd post!

You mean like suggestions that have already been settled?
To be honest, I'm not quite sure what is the stance for reporting something like that. I'd have to get back to you for the answer that one. ^^;
