If you are reading this, please read to the end, because if you don't you won't know what's at the end. Don't just skip to the end though otherwise you won't be able to read the middle, which is most important. Now you must be wondering why you just read all that, the reason is you may have not noticed something, read it again and see if you notice it this time  smile

A few points...
expression is the actual C block itself, expression firstBlockList is the stack of inserted blocks.
arguments contains the little inserters on the block like colours, text, etc

Great guide though!  smile

I know the arguments, just I never thought that expression was the whole block.

You can use anything you want. I don't even really care if you give credit. (though credit is appreciated) I feel too many people say they wan't credit when really they cannot legally demand credit. In fact, I don't think anyone should really give credit, if you ask for credit (or even demand it sometimes), it isn't much help is it? I think the Scratch website is going corrupt, everyone wanting to be famous and get credit. It isn't as friendly any more.

Re: Squeak Smalltalk Chapter 5

If its a really huge thing that took weeks, and someone scams it, then I would love to see them fall 'cause they didn't give credit.

If someone takes it and uses it as a base to create something much stronger, then heck, have fun with it.  big_smile

Re: Squeak Smalltalk Chapter 5

BTW just in case anyone was wondering, the whole thing with the looking at the if block then making a method from it, was actually how I did it. Then I made the backwards one by thinking, wouldn't it be cool if you could do a script backwards, then looked at a block I made ([ ] backwards) and noticed, I could try that! At first i though i'd get the error of my lifetime from the squeak runner (whatever you want to call it) , but then I noticed it worked!
