My project "pizza tycoon" is very similar to the neW mcdonalds feautUred one. It is very unfair. I didn't copy him.

I might point out that your project was uploaded after that one, but I believe you didn't copy it.
Anyway, what's the problem with that? It's not like every project has to be 100% unique. As long as you didn't copy it without credit, it's perfectly fine to have a project that looks similar to another.

Are you saying that what you did was unfair then arguing with yourself? Please explain because there doesn’t seem to be a problem.
And if you pretty much just changed the idea from McDonald’s to pizza, then I don’t believe it is fair to say it was a copy, (unless you just downloaded it, changed the sprites, and uploaded) but I also don’t believe it is fair to say that the idea is completely yours. This is obviously because of you’re (first of all knowing of the project in the first place) saying it is very similar.
Although it can be frustrating sometimes to the owner of the project with the similar idea, the person should know that legally speaking, only some rights reserved. Those being that of Scratch as a player for the project mostly. So you LEGALLY have every right to download, copy, and say it was yours. I’m not saying you did that, though, I am saying you could. Socially, I can see why you would have a hard time.
Judging by the information given, it seems as though others are calling your project a copy. I believe the solution to this problem is to simply state in the project notes that the idea was inspired by that of the front page.
If I have misinterpreted this entire thing, then please explain with more detail because we all have been perplexed with the description in the first post.

Well no, this took me about a week to do. I am new here, so I'm just figuring out scripts. It bugs me when featured things are very similar to your project when you worked very hard on it and didn't copy. You can download my project and his project, the scripts are not the same.

Copy and paste the words I highlighted in red and put then in the project notes of said project. Problem solved. When your project is called a copy, just tell the person to read the project notes, which they should always read before hand, especially when making an accusation.
EDIT: WOOHOO!!! 1337th POST I FEEL SO LEET NAO!!!!!!!!

Sorry to hear that's happening.
If the people accusing you of project theft continue to pester you, you can add them to your ignore list (you can access your ignore list on your user page). Additionally, you can contact the Scratch Team about main site problems here. Hopefully the Scratch Team can help you sort this problem out.

FreshStudios, I'm sorry that this is happening. I know how you feel when people are mean to new scratchers. Henley, if FreshStudios didn't know about the mcdonald's game, then it IS completely his idea. Because he couldn't have copied if he didn't know about the mcdonald's game.
