I was working in a Scratch project. I wanted to edit some backgrounds of the Stage of my game and when I click the "Backgrounds" appears an error that says:
Message no understood: primitiveFail
Bitmap(Object)>>error:
Bitmap(Object)>>doesNotUnderstand:
Bitmap>>decompress:fromByteArray:at:
Bitmap class>>descompressFromByteArray:
From>>unhibernate
BitBlt>>copyBits
BitBlt>>copy:from:in:fillColor:rule:
Form>>asFormOfDepth:
ImageMedia>>thumbnailFormExtent:
MediaItemMorph>>buildSubmorphs
This error gives me three options: Proceed, Abandon, or Debug.
I used to enter to the Backgrounds and had no problem. Even today I was working in this project. But now I cant enter the Backgrounds because appears this error.
Everything works fine, the game run perfectly, but I cant enter there.
I dont know what to do. Need Help Please!

Hmm, did it say exactly this? Also, make sure that you are in the background editor before you import images. I'm not sure if this has an effect on it or not, but its what I do and I've never had this issue.

Yes. Its says exactly like that. I have no idea where it came from, but i cant repare it
And i wanted to upload the game to the Scratch web site so you can see the error, but when I click to upload it appears another error:
Failed: Serialization: Message not understood: primitiveFail
but in this case is when i try to upload the game to the website
I really need help. I loved the way that this game was made
And I spend really much time doing it

Try on a different project. If you get the same error, did you mess with the coding?

ok thanks anyway. I copied all the scripts and images (except the Background ones of the Stage) to another scratch file and this error didn´t appear again.
A friend told me that the file might had broken while saving or copying it, and thats why the error came out.
Now i´ll continue editing this game and will post it soon
