Should I keep the lock on my locker?

I don't keep anything valuable in there.
But then again, I don't want my books stolen.
Or my hall pass and bookbag. And you guys know what the kids at my school are like due to my past topics.
Opinions?

Re: Should I keep the lock on my locker?

What I do is unlock the lock, and keep it inside my locker. At the end of the day, I take the lock out and lock the locker again.

Re: Should I keep the lock on my locker?

I don't because I carry everything in my backpack to my classes.
So you probably should.

Re: Should I keep the lock on my locker?

At my school, we don't have lockers.
We have backpacks.

Well if you wanted honesty, that's all you had to say. I never want to let you down or have you go, it's better off this way.

Re: Should I keep the lock on my locker?

Well, first of all, why do you (sorta) want the lock off?

To get to your stuff easier between classes?

Re: Should I keep the lock on my locker?

Then I suggest that you keep the lock on, just to keep people out.

When you get the stuff out of your locker, redo the combo, but leave one number out.

Then all you have to do after the next class is turn one number, and then your locker's opened.  big_smile

Re: Should I keep the lock on my locker?

At my school you can't carry around a bookbag. And the locks on our lockers don't come off. Well our gym lockers' locks do but I hardly ever lock mine efore class because I don't have time. And it's not like anyone's going to steal my pants. But it's funny because some locks in the locker room have the combination written on them so my friends and I take other people's locks off and hide them. And we look through people's stuff if they just left it unlocked (Even though I usually don't lock mine either). So far we haven't been caught but apparently it's an offense worthy of expulsion or something.

But if I were you I'd keep my locker locked

Re: Should I keep the lock on my locker?

You have 2 lockers? We have one for everything. The girl in the locker beside me didnt know how to do her lock so I always did it for her. Then I got tired of it so I stole it and blamed someone else.

Re: Should I keep the lock on my locker?

I just use a combination lock and keep three of the letters in the correct position, I then just quickly spin till the last letter and hey presto! I opened my locker in about 2 seconds! Then I just change one letter.
