Going 3d !! anyone wanna join in ????

well so far learning Javascript was an amazing decision , (i know quite a FEW coding languages and i seriously find them very similar but javascript was a bit different, Its quite similar to scratch if u see the programming methodology (nearly the same) ). For those who dont know what Javascript is see this .

To learn Javascript (the basics) I suggest reading this




Now coming to the point  I coded a Raycaster as my first javascript application , I am coding quite a Counter Strike Sorta game using AJAX principles , coding it as a website promises it will run on all platforms - > windows , linux , solaris , MAC and also it wont also require nothing to be installed!

**OUR MISSION**
---------------------------------------------
* Code a 3d  game*
* Code it to be an MMO*
* Make it embeddable*
* Make it web 2.0 able * - that is peoples should be able to define there own player

Here is the basic demo of 3d raycaster


Heres The BEta Renderer ( this is slowed down intentionally)
(DOES NOT WORKS ON INTERNET EXPLORER LESS THEN 9)

I'd be glad to help.
I'm very, very good at math and i know Javascript an XML well.

Back in my day.... there were no laws that censored the internet... now, there are.... nah.

What kind of graphx? I can do stuff with sketchup. I could send you a file if you want, to judge me. I don't know Javascript, so I can't code.  big_smile

Oh btw the TItle screen is irrelevant now but due to lack of time i wasnt able to update it
so heres the updated controls :

Mouse - >  Control Directions
Shift - > Strafe
Space -> JUmp

W - Move forward
S - Move backward

Gave up on the Halo vs Counter Strike then? or just on hold? Btw, the Learn Javascript link on the first post doesn't go anywehere. If I had the link I might be able to help. I've been interested in learning it anyway because on Unity using it and other stuff.
