Red: Captain Falcon
Green: Kirby
Blue: Zero-Suit Samus

Blaze and Espeon have similarities:
* They both have a red gem in their forehead
* They are both based on cat like features
* They are both purple in colour

The last game made for the Nes was about getting to Sunday school ans it was a remake of a game where you had to save your girlfriend and in-between levels she started to lose her clothes

In Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe, The Joker indadvertedly reveals that Deathstroke is a trekkie. This is because, in the Wrath of Kahn reference, he shouted "KAAAAAHHHHHNNNN!!!!" three times, but Kirk only did twice. Deathstroke then threatened to maul him for that.

In Megaman 9, typing "Sigma" as your name makes the game state that it's inappropriate language, censoring it to "Si**a".

Tekken has a person who knows all fighting styles, but can only use one per fight. Mokujin and the cooler looking Combot. However, I'm not sure when Mokujin was introduced. I know as far back as 3 is when characters like this appeared.
