I really, really want to make an MMORPG like Club Penguin but not as corny, no offense Club Penguin addicts (this was a small part of the reason I joined Scratch, but then I realized this isn't the place to do that). Is mmorpgmaker.com legit?? I've heard about it from several places, and I checked out the website but I'm kind of skeptical because it doesn't look that professional, and it's free, so I'm wondering if there's viruses etc. Does anyone know if it's legitimate/use it? And is it even the sort of thing I'd want to use? If it's not that great, does anyone know of anything better? I have no experience with C++/Java/html.

I'm not sure if it is Legit... I have never heard of it. you should look for some reviews on it, ask people that use it, etc. and as for the second question, it would probably use c++. but its really not hard to learn. im learning it now; I got the "how to program for dummies" book a while ago, and its actually pretty clear. it comes with a disc that has Liberty and LibertyBasic, which are sort of like simpler versions of C++, because C++ is a tad more cunfusing, because it has some rather random symbols (it has a bunch og {'s and }'s) and would proboly be hard to memorise. but the book is about 30 dollars at Barnes and Noble I think, and is pretty good for a begginer. It also helps a lot if you know scratch
. But if it turns out to be good and easy, then Ill make one too!
or, I suppose you could wait for the realease of 2.0, wich is going to have Mesh blocks im pretty sure. but I dont know the flexibility of them... like, would it automatically connect, or you have to type in the IP addres, or whatever? anywaysd, its your choice. though its probably best to choose the MMORP maker if its good, because it will be much more sufficent, and if it does use C++, it would be handy to learn, because most things use C++, like apple apps.
