i can translate to, and shouldnt good-bye be, Ji Jein? oh well i dont know, depends on whether your using chinese accent or taiwanese, or what not...

Vanslar, it's Si-je-n. This is Mandarin Chinese. Taiwanese is almost the same as Mandarin. You can translate too? Are you Chinese yourself? Did someone teach you? I've got an 103 year old Tia-Po (Great Grandma) and she only speaks Fu-Je-Nese. (I think that's how you spell it.) And I did come from Taiwan.

Jacobo, Ch-wan would be "pass". You don't have to say "the" and by the way, it depends on what kind of food you want.

Beny, unfortunately I don't have Chinese fonts. If you are wondering how to say "I love you" It's Wo-I-Ne. I think you already know how to say "hello" and "good-bye"

BENY: I'm wondering: is there somehow a way to type chinese characters without a chinese font? You said that you don't have chinese fonts, but in one of your above posts you have some chinese characters. How did you achieve this?

That was my real question also. I just assumed you used a special font.

Hello everybody. I've got a couple of messages for everyone.
JoelP: You are right.
Sawman3: I don't think so.
MahoAshley: Thank you for your explanations.
Dr. Jim: I agree with you.
As you probably have noticed most of this doesn't have to do with what I've set this forum up for. So I would like to get back on subject and ask if anyone would like a translation!

wow, it's so cool you know Japanese. Today I started my first Japanese class "Beginners I" here at MIT. I hope I can learn as much as you do. Did you learn just from Anime/Manga?
Offline
(>_<") MahoAshley I'm glad your translating in Japanese for them but it would be a nice Idea to make your own forum for it. Are you allowed to have more than 1? But if you insist, you can keep your stuff here. Now I ask once more if anyone would like to have something Translated in Chinese! (Sorry if it sounds like I'm mad at you. I'm not really!)
Fact:
There are more than 100 dialects in Chinese.

Yes Lanie, that would be cool! But I would like to keep this Forum on subject. It'd be really cool if you made a "Learn German" Forum! Thanks for the offer anyway.
